Mission

Rayat Bahra University has a registered central level alumni committee for building strong bond between alumni and present students. The AARBU gives support to the university and students through interaction, financial funding, guidance and placement. The mission of the AARBU (Alumni Association, Rayat Bahra University, Mohali) is to foster a mutually beneficial relationship between the University and its alumni.

Purpose

The Alumnus of AARBU (Alumni Association, Rayat Bahra University, Mohali) will be important members for realizing the goals of the organization. They will be crucial change agents in transformational leadership. The association activities and programs for its Alumni will be directed towards building life long bonds of kinship with the University. The purpose of the association will be to encourage the mutual understanding and support of the members.

Objectives

One of the main purposes of the AARBU to support a network of all old students who will in turn help to raise the profile of the university. The association wishes each alumnus to succeed in their career. The association will be highlighting alumnus success stories and narrating them to the existing students to help them in their career advancement. In essence, the association will work

To encourage and promote close relationship between the university and its alumni and among the alumni themselves.
To promote and encourage friendly relations between all members of the alumni body, an interest in the affairs and well-being of the University.
To initiate and develop productive programs for the benefit of the alumni.
To provide and disseminate the information about faculties and students, to the alumni.
To assist and support the efforts of the University for collecting funds for development.
To serve as a forum through which alumni may support and advance the pursuit of academic excellence at the University.
To guide and assist the alumni, who have recently completed their study, to get employment and engage in productive pursuits which are useful to the society.
To organize and co-ordinate reunion activities of the alumni and let the alumni acknowledge their gratitude to their alumnus.
To build up a strong industry-academia relationship.
To collect, publish and distribute such information that may be useful to the alumni and their Alma Mater.
The association will promote academic, sports and cultural activities of the University.
To promote friendly relationship among its members and existing and retired students.
To honor its distinguished member.

Governing Body

The Governing Body shall be the supreme body of the Alumni Association in taking decision on any matter relating to the association. It shall function in accordance with the by- laws of the Alumni Association and the number of members can be increased/decreased by the patron in chief.The following members of AARBU shall comprise the Governing Body of the association.
