Overview
The students acquire knowledge in the field of social sciences, literature and humanities which make them sensitive and sensible enough. The B.A. graduates will be acquainted with the social, economic, historical, geographical, political, ideological and philosophical tradition and thinking. The program also empowers the graduates to appear for various competitive examinations or choose the post graduate programme of their choice. The B. A. program enables the students to acquire the knowledge with human values framing the base to deal with various problems in life with courage and humanity. The students will be ignited enough to think and act over for the solution of various issues prevailed in the human life to make this world better than ever.

Eligibility Criteria: Aspirants should have passed 10+2 from any recognised board with at least 50% marks in aggregate (45% marks in case for SC/ST candidates). With all of the essential courses covered in the course curriculum, the BA course covers all aspects of the arts generally.

After completing B.A there is a plethora of career opportunities. There is a huge scope that students can acquire basic knowledge of English as Language which is essential to understand English literature. The student gets to know of the rich history and culture of Punjab. They Understand the basic themes, concepts, chronology and the Scope of Indian History. Understanding how different degrees of competition in a market affect pricing and output. The students get to know of the important thoughts and concepts of various political thinkers and philosophers of the world that enables an individual understand life in a better way.
