About The Department
Department of Chemistry was established in the year 2014. The Department has a student-centric vision, which views student education, training and preparation for today’s technologically-based society. The department has well equipped two large chemistry laboratories and one research laboratory. The laboratories are equipped with pH-meters, conductivity meters, electronic and dona weighing balances, centrifugal machines, Muffle furnace, Hot air ovens, flame photometer, rotary evaporator, Ostwald viscometer, Redwood viscometer, flash and fire point apparatus, colorimeter and all glassware, chemicals required to perform experiments of B.Sc. and M.Sc. programs.

I had the pleasure of attending Rayat Bahra University and I can honestly say that it was one of the best experiences of my life. All faculty members are knowledgeable and passionate about their subjects and they provided a great learning environment. The campus was beautiful and the facilities were top-notch. I also enjoyed the social atmosphere with plenty of clubs and activities to get involved in. To be first time hosteller, I was much worried about my living and eating habits. Thank God, my hostel room at university is amazing and I’m enjoying delicious food. Overall, the university gave me an amazing experience that I will never forget.

It is a beautiful campus and is an excellent place. I believe the facilities here can definitely be ranked among the top 10 Universities in the country. There are nice arrangements for accommodation at the hostel with lots of food choices. The campus is ragging free. I enjoy the rigorous lectures provided by our faculty members. I put my first step in RBU with the same hope, and all my dreams are coming true with the support and guidance of faculty members. I am fortunate to be part of it.
