The Department of Computer Applications at Rayat Bahra University has always endeavored for academic excellence with the most advanced curriculum and syllabus. Ever since its inception the department has attained unparalleled heights and stands on par quality among its equivalent programs. The Department has proven its academic competence and success with an extensive range of courses offered both at the Undergraduate and Postgraduate levels.The Department offers Bachelor of Computer Applications (BCA), BCA Specialization (Internet of things, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science) at the undergraduate level, PG Diploma in Computer Applications (PGDCA), Master of Computer Applications (MCA, M.Sc IT) at the PG level.
The Department has prepared students to design, develop and implement software applications. Department emphasizes on the latest programming languages, cutting edge technologies and tools to make the students ready for the IT Industry.
The department has adequate well qualified, competent faculty who are dedicated to the academic and overall development of the student community. The teaching highlights of the faculty of our department are Learner- centric, ICT enabled, Project based, continuous assessment and comprehensive realistic evaluation.
The department aims to become a center of excellence in providing in-depth technical knowledge and opportunities for innovation and research with state-of-the-art computer facilities and produce versatile students making them ready to be employed and capable of cross disciplinary collaboration in industry/government sector/higher education/research and development/entrepreneurship.
