M.Sc. (Chemistry)

OVERVIEW

M.Sc. Chemistry is a two-year postgraduate programme designed to impart in-depth knowledge in Chemistry. The programme comprises of four semesters. The curriculum of program is designed keeping in view the advancement taking place in field of chemical sciences.
In M.Sc second year the students do project work in which students work with a research group of their interest, which gives them hands-on research experience and opportunity to handle advanced equipments. The research project also motivates students to pursue higher education.
After successful completion of M.Sc. Chemistry, the candidates can get employment in Chemical Industries like TATA Chemicals, Asian paints, Vinati Organics, Reliance Petrochemicals, Food Industry, Industrial Laboratories, Indian Civil Services, Medical Services, manufacturing and processing Firms, Dyeing industry and can also pursue Ph.D. from India or abroad.
