Learning and Development function is one of the key aspects of any university or college. In most of the educational entities, L & D might as well enjoy the highest priority for Knowledge Transfer (KT) and producing quality Human Resource which is industry ready and equipped. For Faculties And Other Staff
Induction and Orientation:
A one-time event formally welcoming and introducing new hires to our esteemed University within their first week. This training tends to be relevant to all university-wide roles and departments.
Orientation training is usually prepared by ‘School Of work-life skills’ on big-picture topics such as:
- Mission, vision, and values
- Organization culture
- Organizational structure and leadership team intro
- Mandatory new-hire paperwork
- Overview of benefit plans
- Administrative procedures (computer logins, extension, email setups, etc.)

Soft skills development training
Employees act is just as important and what they know – that’s why soft skills are so essential for growth. Soft skills are personal attributes that enable employees to interact effectively and harmoniously with other people in the workplace, including co-workers, management, and customers. Studied have shown that a gap in basic soft skills among employees affects the success and increases turnover rates. Soft Skills Development Training are useful for new and existing employees of all levels and are an extremely effective way to build an efficient, respectful and collaborative culture – ultimately affecting the bottom line.

Faculty Development Program
Faculty vitality is the main ingredient to enhance professional education and competence. Enriching the faculty vitality in key domains of teaching, assessing, research, professionalism, and administration is perceived to improve educational environment significantly and enhances the academic performance of learners. Faculty Development Program (FDP) has been considered as a stand-alone educational pedagogy in fostering knowledge and professional skills of faculty.
Student Assessment Process
The ‘Student Assessment Process’ is a crucial tool which helps in keeping ‘One to One’ mapping or ‘Individual Monitoring’ on candidates.

Objective :
- This activity helps to gauge student employability and readiness for the recruitment process.
- The complete process begins with interaction with students regarding the process and about its relevance and objectives.
- The process is based on the following benchmarks:
Assessment Benchmarks :
- Soft Skills – Grooming, Communication skills, Resume, Presentation skills, Body Language
- Analytical Assessment-LR & DI, Quant and Verbal
- Technical –Subject specific assessment
Summary :
- The students will be assessed on three basic parameters which are Soft Skills, Analytical or Aptitude and Technical Knowledge (Subject info.)
- The process begins with a written test on aptitude followed by panel interview to assess students on given benchmarks.
- The consolidated scores are analyzed and the batch will be formed accordingly.
Assessment Function
- Individual data is maintained in excel format and time to time shared with management for ‘Individual Monitoring’.
- Any absconds or absentees are strongly treated and relevant actions are taken.
- ‘Gap Analysis’ is done by analyzing Pre and Post Assessment Data.
- A close co-ordination with all Heads and Faculties completes the process.
