It is my intrinsic and absolute honour to lead Rayat Bahra University, a pioneer and renowned Institution of North India established in August. 2014 by the Punjab State Private Univ.Act 2009.
As Vice Chancellor of this premier Prestigious University pleased, I am Confident that Consistent and untiring Efforts of our teaching Faculty who impart knowledge and share their wisdom by innovative modes, to prepare the students who compete Internationally with Cultivation of right attitude, moral and ethical values and have really shaped their personality impressive and debonair.
RBU a Pioneering Institution is providing Superior Quality education to the students enabling them to be part of intellectual fraternity and attain many milestones. University runs 11 Schools which impart Under Graduate (UG), Post Graduate (PG) and PhD courses at its campus located at Kharar, SAS Nagar, Punjab. Apart from the Campus departments/school is also having two Colleges i.e. Rayat Bahra Dental College & Hospital and Rayat Bahra College of Nursing.
University Campus has all basic amenities like Bank Branch, Food Court, Convenience Shops, Gym, ATM, Guest House, Dispensary manned by full time doctor and paramedical staff, Central Library, Skill Development center and playgrounds for its sports activities.
There are eight hostels on the campus including separate hostels for boys and Girls. An International Hostel is also under construction. All the hostels have Wi-Fi internet, common room and Mess.
Academic Expansion and Diversification of widening the academic design curricular updation have been intellectual requirements of the society in the areas of languages, legal studies, Medical, Business, IT, Sciences, Social Sciences, Life Sciences, etc.
Mr. Gurvinder Singh Bahra, Hon’ble Chancellor of Rayat Bahra University and Chairman, Rayat Bahra Group of Institutions along with his team is providing visionary and dynamic leadership to achieve academic goals in different domain of intellectual pursuits. RBU marches ahead to attain its mission through a goal of blending contemporary knowledge with skills and values in true spirit to groom high caliber thinkers, morally upright physical sound and academically empowered citizens of the country .

    (AS PER ACADEMIC REGULATIONS & STUDENT CONDUCT RULES 2018, PAGE NO. 13)
    • The student has cleared all the courses prescribed for the program.
    • The student has obtained at the end of every semester SGPA of at least 4.5 for Diploma & under graduate courses and SGPA 5.0 for post graduate courses. (For M.Pharm, B.Pharm, D.Pharm, B.Pharm (Practice) Courses, SGPA will be 5.0).
    • The student has obtained a minimum CGPA of 5.00 for Diploma & under graduate courses and CGPA 5.5 for post graduate courses.
    • The student has not taken more time than specified for completion of the course.
    • Student has satisfied all the rules of evaluation.
    • No case of indiscipline or unfair means is pending against the student.
    • No dues are pending against the student.
