Overview
The programme develops an ability to understand economic theories and functioning of basic microeconomic and macroeconomic systems. It acquaints the students with Statistical and Mathematical Skills. The students got familiarise with basic and applied econometric tools and methods used in economics. The aim of this course is to provide a foundation in applied econometric analysis and develop skills required for empirical research in economics.

Eligibility Criteria:
Aspirants should have passed 10+2 from any recognised board with at least 50% marks in aggregate (45% marks in case for SC/ST candidates).
Duration: 3 Years (6 Semesters)
Future prospect of the course:
The students acquire the ability to engage in independent and life-long learning in the broadest context socio-technological changes. The programme delineates the developmental policies designed for developed and developing economics. The students get acquaints with the measurement of development with the help of theories along with the conceptual issues of poverty and inequalities.
