The objective of The School of Mass Communication and Digital Journalism is to promote holistic development by fostering the knowledge and understanding of how the media affects citizens and the skills of those who work as media professionals in a variety of social, cultural and political contexts.
The school strives to develop savvy media professionals and socially conscious citizens by placing the student at the center of traditional knowledge, communication technology, extracurricular activities and outreach programs. The school offers formal programs that train students in depth, exposing them to industry and emphasizing practical application, under the guidance of a team of experienced and professional teachers from TV industry and Doordarshan including FTII (Film & Television Institute of India)

  • He is an outstanding author, linguist, thinker and media expert of countrywide fame and also a noted name in the field of creative literature.
  • He is having 44 years of multiple Media industry administrative and Leadership Experience in Television management and production, academic TV Production and Research experience
  • He is D.Litt. ICOU Netherlands, Ph.D., M.A. Hindi, Punjabi, Sanskrit.
  • He has Supervised 5 Ph.D., 100+ PG scholars.
  • He has published more than 20,000 articles in various languages.
  • His publications include more than 68 books in Hindi.
  • He is the recipient of several national and international awards for his literary excellence: The highest award for journalism media awarded by the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Govt. of India : “Bhartendu Harish Chandra Samman”, Indira Gandhi Rajbhasha Award of the Ministry of Home Affairs.

    • The student has obtained at the end of every semester SGPA of at least 4.5 for Diploma & under graduate courses and SGPA 5.0 for post graduate courses. (For M.Pharm, B.Pharm, D.Pharm, B.Pharm (Practice) Courses, SGPA will be 5.0).
    • The student has obtained a minimum CGPA of 5.00 for Diploma & under graduate courses and CGPA 5.5 for post graduate courses.
    • The student has not taken more time than specified for completion of the course.
    • Student has satisfied all the rules of evaluation.
    • No case of indiscipline or unfair means is pending against the student.
    • No dues are pending against the student.
