Department of Students Welfare is located in the Centre of the Rayat-Bahra University, adjacent to Girls hostels and is headed by Dean Students Welfare. The Aim of the department is to enhance the the Social, technical, organizational & Leadership skills by organizing various Webinars/Seminars/Conferences/Workshops and through interactive programs with the faculty, administration and society. Department is having ‘All Eyes and Ears’ for Students Grievances and providing them solutions having ‘Single Window approach’ under ‘Students Information Care and Counselling Cell’.
Department plays a pivotal role in the overall development of students through organizing various co-curricular activities like Intra & Inter-Universities competitions, Athlete meet, Sports activities, Cultural events, Literary Events & performing arts etc. Department is highly focussed on holistic development of the students by inculcating Inter-personal Skills, communication Skills, Technical Skills, Life Skills, Interview Preparation, Leadership Qualities & Career enhancement Sessions and Stress management etc. Various Clubs & Committees are constituted at University level and department is actively involved in NSS, NCC, Red Ribbon Club, Sexual Harassment Cell, Anti-ragging Cell, Grievance redressal Cell etc. Students are always motivated to participate actively in ensuring and spreading the awareness about the objective & proper functioning of the all Clubs activities to benefit the students at large.
Department ensures that all the Hostels are equipped with modern facilitiesby providing all essentials & emergency services to students. Further, the High standard International Hostels with prime amenities and a proactive Foreign Students Centre cater many students from overseas. Currently, International students across more than 20+ Countries are residing in International Hostels at University Campus.
Department strictly follows the guidelines and regulations of University Grant Commission in prevention of Ragging in the University Campus through counselling of the students and supporting the administration whenever necessary. Hence, Code of Conduct is strictly implemented at the University Campus for all the students and all students must obey the Code of Conduct where ‘No candidate shall create any mutual hatred between different castes and communities, religious or linguistic or between any groups of students.
At last, with the motto of “Future Ready”, Department of students Welfare is always at the disposal of our students and provide them the Best of amenities to make them ‘Future Ready’ by enhancing their employability.

    (AS PER ACADEMIC REGULATIONS & STUDENT CONDUCT RULES 2018, PAGE NO. 13)
    • The student has cleared all the courses prescribed for the program.
    • The student has obtained at the end of every semester SGPA of at least 4.5 for Diploma & under graduate courses and SGPA 5.0 for post graduate courses. (For M.Pharm, B.Pharm, D.Pharm, B.Pharm (Practice) Courses, SGPA will be 5.0).
    • The student has obtained a minimum CGPA of 5.00 for Diploma & under graduate courses and CGPA 5.5 for post graduate courses.
    • The student has not taken more time than specified for completion of the course.
    • Student has satisfied all the rules of evaluation.
    • No case of indiscipline or unfair means is pending against the student.
    • No dues are pending against the student.
