B.Sc. Hons in Chemistry is a three year program completed in six semester. It gives students an opportunity to foster their skills and apply knowledge by making a valuable contribution to the global challenges being faced by humanity. During this program student learns fundamentals of inorganic, organic, physical & analytical Chemistry. Student can design and carry out scientific experiments and analyse the results of experiments accurately.

10+2 with 50% marks with English, Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics/Biology and should have studied Chemistry as Core subject. (5% relaxation for SC/ST as per Govt norms).

After successful completion of B.Sc. (Hons.) Chemistry, the candidates are capable of working in the employment areas like Chemical Industries like TATA Chemicals, Asian paints, Vinati Organics, Reliance Petrochemicals, Food Industry, Industrial Laboratories, Indian Civil Services, Medical Services, manufacturing and processing Firms, Dyeing industry, plastic industries, agrochemical industries etc.
The student has cleared all the courses prescribed for the program.
The student has obtained at the end of every semester SGPA of at least 4.5 for Diploma & under graduate courses and SGPA 5.0 for post graduate courses. (For M.Pharm, B.Pharm, D.Pharm, B.Pharm (Practice) Courses, SGPA will be 5.0).
The student has obtained a minimum CGPA of 5.00 for Diploma & under graduate courses and CGPA 5.5 for post graduate courses.
The student has not taken more time than specified for completion of the course.
Student has satisfied all the rules of evaluation.
No case of indiscipline or unfair means is pending against the student.
