OVERVIEW
The Bachelor of Science in Cardiovascular Technology (B.Sc-CVT) programme is a three-year regular academic programme that covers all elements of cardiovascular disease management and care. It entails studying complex diagnostic and therapeutic processes that necessitate the use of a wide range of equipment, computer hardware, instruments, machinery, and pharmaceutical drugs. This programme teaches students how to address a variety of heart problems. Students will be taught how to use specialised occupational theory, skills, and concepts to operate independently as qualified cardiovascular technologists and as members of cardiac catheterization and electrophysiology laboratory teams. The CVT’s major job is to undertake technical procedures for the diagnosis and treatment of cardiovascular damage and illness under the supervision of a certified physician.
