Bachelor of Hotel Management & Catering Technology: BHMCT is a four-year intensive program spread over eight semesters. The program exposes the student to the diversity of the hospitality industry along with the development of intellectual and leadership qualities, thereby allowing them to progress into management. In addition, the program provides the hospitality industry with competent young professionals having the necessary knowledge, skills, values, and attitudes for key operational positions. The program also lays a strong foundation in vertical growth to higher education opportunities as well as enables students to take up research that is current and relevant.
- Equipping students with knowledge and skills in both theory and management practice in the areas of hospitality including Food Production, Front Office, Housekeeping, Food & Beverage, Customer Service, and Facility Services.
- Familiarize students with the hospitality environment by internship programs and practical hands-on training.
- Enable students to develop their problem-solving, analytical and communication skills.
- Provide a platform to pursue higher studies in the hospitality space.
- Recognize the importance of outstanding guest service quality, server-guest relationships, and ethics.
