OVERVIEW

The Department of Commerce has absorbed the history of academic institutions pushing the boundaries of knowledge and innovation. The Department legitimately asserts and takes pride in being India’s top institution for developing course curricula, imparting instruction, and doing research in the field of commerce.

The department offers M.Com in the PG stream and B.Com (Hons.) in the UG stream. It provides high-quality, reasonably priced, and professional education with the goal of developing graduate and postgraduate students who are highly effective and possess leadership skills.

The department plays a pivot role in producing future corporate leaders. The emphasis is placed on developing the students into true leaders and team players as well as academically brilliant individuals by equipping them with the abilities needed to successfully integrate into the corporate world.

The department has adequate well qualified, competent faculty who are dedicated to the academic and overall development of the student community. The teaching

highlights of the faculty of our department are Learner- centric, ICT enabled, Project based, continuous assessment and comprehensive & realistic evaluation.
