OVERVIEW

The Department of Electronics and Communication and Electrical is one of the first constituents of this college. From the very inception, this department has established itself as an efficient, self reliant and quality conscious entity with the sole aim of producing the most energetic, enthusiastic and professionally competent Electronic Engineers with ability to take up the challenges posed to them.
To fulfill this dream, the department is manned by a group of well qualified, conscientious and dedicated faculty and technical staff. The salient aspects of the department such as facilities available, achievements , students forum etc are brought out in the succeeding sections.
Electronics & Communication Engineering deals with the electronic devices, circuits, communication equipments like transmitter, receiver, integrated circuits (IC). It also deals with basic electronics, analog and digital transmission & reception of data, voice and video (Example AM, FM, DTH), microprocessors, satellite communication, microwave engineering, antennae and wave progression. It aims to deepen the knowledge and skills of the students on the basic concepts and theories that will equip them in their professional work involving analysis, systems implementation, operation, production, and maintenance of the various applications in the field of Electronics and Communications Engineering.
Electrical Engineering is one of the largest and fastest growing fields which generally deals with the study and application of Electricity, Electronics & Electromagnetism. The department has good infrastructural facilities and is equipped with full fledged laboratories such as Basic Electrical lab, Electrical Machines Lab- I, Power Electronics lab, Electrical Measurements lab, Advanced Electrical Engineering lab and Electrical Workshop.
Our main aim is to impart knowledge with innovative ideas to the students in the teaching-learning process. In the teaching-learning process, the students are given assignments and are made to work out exercise problems to equip themselves for the examination which is done apart from the two series tests.

    • The student has obtained at the end of every semester SGPA of at least 4.5 for Diploma & under graduate courses and SGPA 5.0 for post graduate courses. (For M.Pharm, B.Pharm, D.Pharm, B.Pharm (Practice) Courses, SGPA will be 5.0).
    • The student has obtained a minimum CGPA of 5.00 for Diploma & under graduate courses and CGPA 5.5 for post graduate courses.
    • The student has not taken more time than specified for completion of the course.
    • Student has satisfied all the rules of evaluation.
    • No case of indiscipline or unfair means is pending against the student.
    • No dues are pending against the student.
