M.Sc. Zoology or Master of Science in Zoology is a postgraduate Zoology course. Zoology is branch of biology which relates to the animal kingdom, including the structure, embryology, evolution, classification, habits, and distribution of all animals, both living and extinct. Being a postgraduate programme, the scope of M.Sc. in Zoology is vaster, more detailed and specific in nature. The course deals with various aspacts of zoology viz. Animal biodiversity, Advanced Cell and molecular biology, Applied Genetics and Animal Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Bioinformatics, Ecology and Evolution, Parasitology, Immunology, Animal Behaviour, Wild conservation, Entomology, Toxicology, Fisheries, and many a more applied and advanced studies. MSc Zoology students can choose core subjects and electives as per their career objective and area of interest.

Eligibility Criteria: B.Sc. (Medical or Life Sciences) with zoology as one of the subject or any equivalent degree in zoology from recognized University with at least 50% marks in aggregate (45% marks in case for SC/ST candidates).
Duration: 2 Year (4 Semesters)
