Overview

Radiology is a branch of Allied Health Science that deals with the diagnosis of diseases with the help of technology and diagnostic tools in medical treatment using radiation and imaging the inner organ systems in the human body. Pursuing Radiology after 12th medical stream, trains you to diagnose and treat diseases using X-rays. If you wish to build a successful career in Radiology and Radiography, you should possess excellent skills, be able to interpret technical data, and be proficient in utilizing radiography equipments. Such radiology courses start after 12th medical stream and radiological technology course will give you an in-depth understanding of subjects like principles of medical Imaging, radiographic techniques, radiation physics, Anatomy and Physiology and the like. Radiology Technologists use a variety of imaging techniques and work on modern sophisticated  radiology equipment’s i.e Digital X-rays, Ultrasound, Computed Tomography, DSA, DEXA, Mammography, PACS,  Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) and many more. This rapid development of imaging technology over the past few years has created several opportunities in the field of radiology. The field of radiology is divided into two main categories: diagnostic radiology and interventional radiology. In diagnostic radiology, imaging processes are used to diagnose diseases or injuries in patients. Alternatively, interventional radiology involves guided medical therapies administered via small incisions using Medical Imaging Processes.

    • The student has cleared all the courses prescribed for the program.
    • The student has obtained at the end of every semester SGPA of at least 4.5 for Diploma & under graduate courses and SGPA 5.0 for post graduate courses. (For M.Pharm, B.Pharm, D.Pharm, B.Pharm (Practice) Courses, SGPA will be 5.0).
    • The student has obtained a minimum CGPA of 5.00 for Diploma & under graduate courses and CGPA 5.5 for post graduate courses.
    • The student has not taken more time than specified for completion of the course.
    • Student has satisfied all the rules of evaluation.
    • No case of indiscipline or unfair means is pending against the student.
    • No dues are pending against the student.
