About The Department
Department of Life Sciences came into existence in the year 2016 under University School of Sciences. Department aspires to be a foremost center for learning nationally and internationally through the pursuit of Academic excellence & admirable research in biological sciences; by promoting innovation and entrepreneurial skills, critical thinking and scientific temper & by focusing on Holistic development of individuals. It provides optimum platform for students to realize their true potential and to sharpen up their scientific skills. The department strives to build up academic aptitude for leadership in knowledge propagation specially in Research and Development.Research Scholars (at Masters & Doctorate Levels) get congenial learning ambience & well-Equipped Laboratories to develop their intellectual, academic and Scientific skills through practical training. The highly qualified and well experienced faculty is nourishing the scientific and intellectual needs of the students by providing them practical & project-based learning. 20+ Startups are initiated by the department to promote the entrepreneurship skills in the students. 150+ research papers, Patents, Research designs are granted in the name of the faculty. The department also endeavors to create awareness among students & masses for sustainable development by adopting various systematic approaches for Environment conservation.
